Welcome to the Large Multimodal Models (LMM) Research Lab at Dongguk University (Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence)! Led by Professor Yunsick Sung, we study the core learning paradigms behind LMM reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and deep learning. Our goal is straightforward: use LMMs to solve concrete problems in interactive digital worlds and real-world autonomy, and ship reliable, efficient, and controllable LMM-driven agents. We develop LMM-based methods and systems for game/virtual simulation, autonomous driving, music creation, unmanned systems, and natural user interfaces/experiences (NUI/NUX).
